I felt the vendor fee was fair, and I was satisfied with the Christmas decoration in the room. However, I did notice that there were empty tables in the room that, unfortunately, didn’t highlight the market as well as they could have.
The convenient parking was much appreciated, to people to go the art market.
More notably, I couldn’t help but feel that the event didn’t receive the level of exposure it deserved. The attendance seemed lower, and I believe this was due in part to limited promotion. There was a noticeable lack of ad via social media platforms. The only signage I saw was a banner at the entrance, which was somewhat difficult to spot for drivers passing by.
Given the busy nature of the Highway 89, I believe a more visible presence would have made a significant difference. A simple addition, such as a sandwich board sign placed outside the venue, could have easily caught the attention of passersby and increased awareness of the event.
I hope this feedback proves helpful as you plan for future events. With a bit more emphasis on promotion and visibility, I’m confident the event could attract a larger audience and continue to grow in success.
Thank you for organizing the event, and I look forward to participating again in the future.
Adding the Friday evening to the market was basically a waste of time, although an admirable test.
More social media required to solicit customers.
This year was much less impactful and interactive compared to years previous:
- no kids activities
- no Santa Claus
- no RSG products being sold at the Market
The concept of the Market as a destination is certainly valid.
Perhaps the date needs to be pushed back to early December rather than mid month.
Needs to get back to a Saturday only event with lots of proactive hype.
