In 2009, Gail and Phil Winters transformed their 30-acre Pinkney Farm on Shaws Creek Road into a thriving hop operation. What began as a modest test plot grew to 1,500 plants, leading to the launch of GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co. in 2017.
Every beer crafted at GoodLot reflects their core purpose: to build and play together, creating meaningful connections within the community and fostering a deeper relationship with the land. From soil to glass, their brewing honors the heritage of the farm and the people who call this place home.
